Erich Schoch
Eric Schoch is a writer and photographer in Indianapolis, Ind. He worked four years at the Lorain (Ohio) Journal and nearly 20 years at The Indianapolis Star, covering education, city hall, business, health and medicine and science and technology.
Since 2000, Schoch has worked in communications for the Indiana University School of Medicine, using text, photography and video to report on the school’s biomedical research. He is also a partner at M10 Studio, an Indianapolis photography studio and gallery.
As with his journalism and science writing, Schoch wants his photography to tell good stories, whether in landscapes, in the laboratory or on the street.
Schoch has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Michigan and a master’s in urban studies from the University of Chicago.
