Before joining The Post, Nikki Kahn worked as a photo editor and photographer for Knight Ridder/Tribune Information Services in Washington, D.C. and as a staff photojournalist for the Indianapolis Star. In June 2004, Nikki completed her Masters in Photography at Syracuse University. She also holds a B.A. in Visual Media and Art History from American University in Washington, D.C. Nikki is currently working on a personal photo documentary project on the AIDS crisis in her native country of Guyana, capturing the daily struggles of HIV/AIDS patients.
